Filter Manager
Filter Manager is intended for adding, editing, deleting or moving the filters. Moving the filters in the filterset, you change only an order of the filters in reports. The order of the filters has no influence on a program performance because the captured packet is processed by every filter.
An option Restore counters from the file after capture restart allows to restore the traffic counters in the main grid after capture restart. Normally, when you stop the capture and start it again, the traffic counters in the main grid will be dropped to zero. To avoid this situation you can enable mentioned option and specify a filename (it must not be a filename template) to store counters in the external XML file. This file is temporary and don't use this file as a final report! To create the frond-end traffic reports, use XML traffic reports feature.
You can get to the Filter Manager from the menu Traffic -> Edit filters...
